Journaling is a helpful tool in the healing journey. Journaling can be done as a solo activity or even as a couple’s exercise. Sometimes a blank journal page can be daunting. Listed below are promots to get you started.

Here are some additional journal prompts you may find inspiring:

  • Look at the emotion wheel and write about the emotion you’re feeling right now.
  • What happened today?
  • Write about a conversation you had with someone today or this week that sticks out in your mind.
  • Rant about something that made you angry or sad this week.
  • Write about something that made you happy or peaceful this week.
  • Write about what you feel like you can’t talk about to people.
  • Write about how much you love and miss your baby.
  • Write about what you want your baby to know about you.
