Thank you to everyone for an amazing Relay in Remembrance!

We surpassed our funding goal, raising $5,265 thanks to our generous donors.

Throughout the day we remembered 53 beloved babies that died during the perinatal period.

We had 33 participants walking in the Relay.

Thank you to our 42 volunteers for making this day possible!
October is Perinatal Loss Awareness Month. Saint Martin’s University students showed their Saint’s heart as they volunteered during the Relay. Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals, provided by Alderson’s Awards West, were awarded to those who completed the most laps during the Relay. Thurston County Medical Reserve Corps ran the Aid Tent for the Relay. Prof. Dianne Nauer shared how to incorporate self-care into our daily routines. Sam Conway, SMU Nursing Student, lead yoga classes throughout the day. Dr. Teri Woo, Director of the Nursing Program, walked 80 laps during the Relay. We will Remember.
Thank you to our event sponsors for helping us make this day possible!
